NEET 2024 Supreme Court Hearing LIVE: The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing on the NEET UG case. The next hearing will be on July 18, 2024. In the earlier hearing on July 8, the Supreme Court asked the Center and the NTA to make a full disclosure on three aspects – when the question paper leak took place, how papers were leaked/spread and length of time between leak and actual implementation of the exam.

Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra who are also part of the bench asked the CBI to submit a status report stating the status of investigations and the material collected during the investigations.

On 5th May, NEET Exam was conducted and the results were announced on 4th June. Soon after the release of the results, controversy erupted that too many toppers scored 720 out of 720. The NTA clarified that over 1,500 students were given grace marks due to loss of time and revision in Physics question. A re-examination was held on 23 June and the results declared on 30 June. Several petitions were filed and taken up in court.

In the earlier hearing, the Supreme Court asked the NTA to provide complete information about the NEET paper leak. The Supreme Court will hear the petitions filed so far and will go through the affidavit filed by the NTA and the Centre.
