The public and netizens are not happy

It seems that the joyous celebration of Ambani has left a sour taste in the mouths of netizens and the general public. Many reacted to the Mumbai Police’s post by ridiculing the incident. Some expressed their nonchalance towards the wedding, declaring that they were “literally sick” and “sick” of hearing about the wedding. Others have wondered “since when did a wedding become a public event.”

The main reactions from the netizens have been disappointing, sarcastic and slanderous. Have a look:

How is a private function a public event? At least give some better reason

Since when did the government start getting involved in private events?

— Manish N. Koparkar (@ManishKoparkar)

What a waste of a department is the Mumbai Police. They regard a private wedding as a public event. Pathetic.

The high monsoon hours in Mumbai are one of the many reasons why the public has been furious. Given the reputation of Mumbai’s traffic, a ‘private affair’ is becoming a hindrance to Mumbaikars’ everyday lives.
