The nomination period opens July 15 for 3 seats on the Malibu City Council

MALIBU, CA – Those interested in running for three City Council seats up for election this fall can draw nomination papers starting July 15.

The nomination period for candidates running for city council in the November 5 election opens July 15 and ends August 9, unless one or more of the incumbents do not file. In that case, the nomination period will be extended to August 14, according to the city.

The three seats, all with four-year terms, are currently held by Councilmen Steve Uhring, Bruce Silverstein and Paul Grisanti.


Nomination packages can be picked up at the municipal clerk’s office in the town hall during opening hours.
